World Mission

We are grateful to participate in the work done by our Mission Partners around the world. We believe God has a heart for the people of every nation and longs to see more and more of them come to know his unfailing love, forgiveness and grace.

ChiredziKids

Chiredzi is a small town in the Masvingo Province in the south east of Zimbabwe, near the Runde River. The name Chiredzi means “a place for line fishing”.

What is ChiredziKids?

Ranger Moyo is our Mission Partner in Chiredzi who pastors a local church and cares for a number of vulnerable children. ChiredziKids is a way that you can support these children.

ChiredziKids Facts:

  • In Zimbabwe many children have been made homeless as a result of the AIDS pandemic, systemic oppression and family tragedy.

  • Established in 2001, our partnership provides shelter, food, education, and a secure family environment for orphans and vulnerable children in Chiredzi.

  • Over 80 children have been cared for by Ranger and his late wife Dolly over the course of the partnership.

  • An accepting church has been established for young people rejected by their society.

  • ChiredziKids also provides vocational opportunities into adulthood beyond schooling.

How do I become a ChiredziKids partner?

Contact James McMaster at Blakehurst Baptist Church to talk about supporting ChiredziKids.
