We accept the Bible is God’s message to us; we believe Jesus Christ is God’s Son who died to save us and rose from death; and we are committed to sharing God’s love with people everywhere.
This is what we believe:
About the nature and unity of God. There is one God revealed as three persons: Father, Son (Jesus Christ) and Holy Spirit. Each person of this Trinity shares eternal deity.
About Scripture. The Bible is the inspired and authoritative Word of God.
About Humanity. All people are created in the image of God, but apart from his mercy and grace are spiritually lost.
About Salvation. God loves all people unconditionally and provided for their eternal salvation by sending his Son to die in their place and rise from the dead. All who demonstrate repentance toward God and faith in Jesus Christ are saved.
About the Church and Ministry. Christ is the head of the church. His followers gather as a church for worship, evangelism, fellowship, discipleship and service to others. Every Christian is a priest and the church appoints suitably gifted people to leadership and ministry roles.
About Baptism and Communion. Christ taught his church to baptise believers by immersion and to regularly celebrate the Lord’s Supper.
About the Future. Christ will return personally and visibly to earth to consummate his salvation and judgement. All who die will be raised and judged: the forgiven to enjoy eternal life and the unforgiven to suffer eternal death.
